On 22 April, Sergei Aksyonov, Head of the Republic of Crimea, is expected to hold a meeting with international investors who will be taking part in the III Yalta International Economic Forum (YIEF) at the White Hall of Livadia Palace. The decision was taken at a working meeting held at the Mriya Resort&Spa, the main YIEF site.
“The substantive dialogue between the authorities and prospective investors is a crucial precondition for ensuring investment inflows. Our objective is to provide business with all the requisite information and, where necessary, offer our assistance and undertake specific measures, in order to set the implementation process going”, said Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov.
Attending the meeting at Livadia Palace will be representatives of the international business community. “We expect at least 250 international participants from 40 countries to visit YIEF 2017. The meeting at Livadia Palace, which hosted the historic Yalta Conference, will be one of the highlights of the Forum”, said Andrei Nazarov, Chairman of the Board of the Yalta International Economic Forum Foundation and Co-chairman of the All-Russia Public Organisation Delovaya Rossiya.
It was also decided at the working meeting that, throughout the Forum, presentations of investment projects offered for implementation in Crimea will be held on a regular basis in parallel with the business programme at the main YIEF venue. These events will be an addition to the exhibition of investment projects open throughout the Forum.
Furthermore, YIEF 2017 is expected to feature an unusual working format for ministers of the Government of the Republic of Crimea to engage with participants. The ministers will take turns in a special “hot chair” to give guests of the Forum brief consultations and information about the terms and conditions for implementing business projects and about the economic situation in the Republic of Crimea. This business communication format will not require an appointment: participants will be able to ask questions or arrange a longer meeting during a live dialogue.
